What's it? Who have wrote it?

It is a Fidonet(tm)/FTN passthrough tosser for node, distributed in sources.
It was written by Sergej Qkowlew 2:5020/122.
It is free for using and modyfying.

Why it was written

It was written to be a freeware, distributed in sources, easyly compiling under ANY OS tosser. I've failed in searching true FTN (without gating Fido-Internet-Fido process) tosser under UNIXes. I've tired from some bugs of very useful DOS and OS/2 tosser SQUISH (by Scott Dudley).
For using in point, try tobruk in, or (better) try DummyTosser written by Dmitry the Zuryanovich dz@mir.glasnet.ru aka 2:5020/730.

Advantages and disadvantages

The main disadvantage is that, AT ALL, it can work only in passthrough mode, without any classic messagebase.
Other disadvantages are:
- it works only with transit echomail. You REQUIRED to be a node.
- it doesn't work with netmail. Use UniMail, or any other netmail packers
- it has only very simple AREAFIX inside - use perl/... or SQAFIX by Pete Kvitek.
Read system requiments section also.
Features are:
- i hope it has no limits on message size

System Requirements

It requires:
- c compiler. SqWish can be distributed in binary, but it may be actual only for DOS, Win32, OS/2 environments, not for UNIXes. - LONG INTEGER SHOULD BE 32 BIT! SHORT 16 BIT! CHAR 8 BIT!
- malloc(unsigned long), correct huge pointers' aryphmetic. - hands and brains.
- if there are limitations in malloc or pointers' aryphmetic - you're dramatically limited in subscription bit table - number of links multiplied by number of areas is amount of bytes in table.
